Shotokan Karate-Do Richmond participates exclusively in Karate BC, Karate Canada, and WKF-sanctioned events. These organizations uphold internationally recognized standards for safety, officiating, and technical excellence.
 

Our students are encouraged to participate in events that align with traditional Shotokan principles, proper etiquette, and high-level competition standards. By focusing only on sanctioned events, we ensure that our athletes train and compete in environments that are fair, well-regulated, and consistent with long-term karate development.
 

Participation in events is optional and based on readiness, instructor recommendation, and individual goals. Additional details regarding upcoming competitions, seminars, and sanctioned events will be shared with eligible students as they become available.
