At Shotokan Karate-do Richmond, all students are required to wear a standard white karate gi appropriate for traditional Shotokan training.

To maintain uniformity, comfort, and quality, we partner with reputable martial arts suppliers that offer exclusive discounts for our registered students. This page provides recommended places to purchase gis and certain personal training items at discounted rates, available only to active, ongoing dojo members.

The dojo provides all sparring equipment and training gear, so parents do not need to purchase gloves, pads, shields, protective gear, or focus equipment.
Students only need to purchase their gi and belt appropriate to their rank.
